What’s different about buying property in Spain
It’s really important to be aware that, unlike the UK, property for sale in Spain may be with multiple estate agents. Generally speaking, multiple agents selling the same property is common practice and means the vendor does not need to depend upon one agent or be tied into an exclusive period which can sometimes prove to be non productive for the vendor. Thus finding your Spanish dream in Moraira, Javea and the Benissa Costa can be a very time consuming challenge.
Please note that when a property is listed for sale with several estate agents, it’s common to see price reductions with one and not the other. The longer a property has been on the market the more chance you have of seeing all sorts of price reductions, especially if a property does not sell easily.
