The Costa Blanca region of Spain has one of the best climates in the world, enjoying over 300 days of sunshine in an average year. One of the most beautiful towns in the Costa Blanca is Teulada-Moraira. Nestling between the mountains and the sea, the wonderful climate of this specific area boasts an average yearly temperature of 18°C. However, you can expect to enjoy higher temperatures of between 28C & 31C in June , July & August along with 11 to 12 hours of sunshine per day.

"Bienvenido" is not an unfamiliar word to the people of Moraira/Teulada. It means welcome in Spanish, and it is a warm welcome you will find here, in one of the nicest towns of the Costa Blanca region. To be exact, Moraira/Teulada are actually two towns that lie adjacent to each other, with Moraira situated on the coast and Teulada slightly inland. In total, almost 10,000 people live in this area.

To the North of Moraira, 15 minutes drive, is the popular coastal town of Javea, and 15 minutes further north Is Denia – a large bustling town, which will see some action from the Americas Cup, which is being held in Valencia, April – June 2007.

Driving 15 minutes inland you will find yourself amongst citrus groves and then if you proceed to the beautiful valley of Jalon – a fertile vine growing area – you can sample the local muscatel grape from the wine cooperatives. This area boasts some dramatic mountain scenery that lures you in to explore it further.

Whether that is by car, on 2 wheels, on horseback or by foot – the choice is yours. For the keen golfer there are 3 courses in the area. Golf Ifach, on the outskirts of Moraira with lovely views to Calpe rock is a 9-hole course. Javea Golf Club is a 10 minute drive away, 9 hole also and “La Sella” Denia is 18 hole and part of the luxury Marriott Hotel complex, 25 minutes drive away.
