I planted this Bird of Paradise plant in our garden nearly two years ago. Although we have had no flowers, to our suprise, It has just flowered and what a beautiful flower indeed. The climate here in Moraira on the Costa Blanca allows gardening enthusiast to be, well, very enthusiastic! It’s one thing buying a villa but to have a nice garden as well is another. We are in October now and the weather here in Moraira is wonderfull, still short’s and t-shirts! It’s at this time of year, after the heat of August, gardens are coming into flower.

Frontline property for sale in Moraira, El Portet, is millionaire territory and in big demand as there are only around twelve frontline villas in El Portet.
There are many more stunning properties 2nd line etc. It is rare for these properties to come on the market but with our friends and contacts whom live there, we always know what and roughly when a special property may become available. The location is highly desirable Consequently, Property prices are high! There are no cheap properties in Moraira when compared with some of the massive developments elsewhere in Spain. Unfortunatly, such huge developments have attracted much bad press for various reasons. Consequently, property prices and company stock values have been vastly reduced. We must not assocciate, generalise or apply these facts to the very well established areas of Moraira and Javea. They still remain highly popular and property sales in Moraira or property sales in Javea are still happening.
There are of course other areas along the coast of Moraira offering frontline villas or villas with fantastic sea views. Along the Benissa coast, just outside Moraira, there are some wonderful properties and are less expensive than those in El Portet. The coast road is like something out of a filmset. Some of the sea views are stunning and alongside the road there are beautiful villas with delightful gardens. There are also many golf courses in and around Moraira.

El Portet Bay
El Portet
El Portet beach in Moraira is an unspoilt & stunning beach. A true tranquility of mother nature. The beach has two quality beach side bars, offering excellent tapas amongst other things!
The jewel in the crown as far as you care to travel in Spain. Well worth a visit!
Moraira Ampolla beach near the castle is another blue flag beach and very handy for the town. There are many coves and beaches along the Moraira coast towards Calpe that are very popular and well worth exploring especially if you like snorkling. Ther are many places to see and visit on the Costa Blanca.
